How to grow a website/blog from 0 to 15,000 visitors per month?

My content journey began in 2010 when I started my first website. It was an online t-shirt store with a blog.

Since then, I have been doing a lot of research & work on content/SEO with one question on my mind.

How can I drive organic traffic to my website without spending a dime on advertising?

Since then, I’ve read 100s of articles & case studies and watched countless videos. I’ve studied blogs, started blogs, and even bought blogs on Flippa. All to understand what drives organic web traffic.

What Drives Organic Traffic from Google Search?

What I have noticed is that 90% of high-traffic sites share key traits:

  • They have at least 1,000 pages of SEO-optimised content on their niche
  • They have been in business for over 3 years.
  • They have acquired many backlinks ( this is a tricky one, sites with tonnes of backlinks but thin in content don’t drive traffic)

Today, organic traffic is harder to gain. A few quality articles and backlinks aren’t enough anymore.

Why You Need to Rank on Google?

But you still need to rank content on Google because:

  • It drives 25% of all internet traffic and 90% of searches
  • Over 70% of people click organic results most or all the time
  • Over 80% of search results are still text-based (as opposed to images and video)

Many major companies like MOZ, HubSpot and authors like Seth Godin, David Clear achieved initial success through blogging. Content marketing brings tremendous ROI.

After an initial investment in regular, relevant content, you gain free traffic and leads for years. And, unlike building on social media, you own your content.

Secret to Organic Traffic Growth

I started a blog 3 years back as an experiment to drive traffic. In the last 18 months, my blog went from 500 to 15,000 visitors a month, with 1 million monthly impressions, consistently growing 20-25% every month.

16-month traffic journey

My secrets to this growth are :

  1. Build topical authority i.e write content on a particular niche
  2. Publish a lot of content, regularly. Top sites in their niche have published at least 1,000 articles. The more you publish the more chances of being found. I wrote and published over 600 blog posts in 16 months.
  3. Build backlinks
  4. Wait for results (at least 9-12 months)….You won’t see much happening for the first 6 months if you’re a new blog. Think of it like running any business. It takes 3-5 years to run a successful business, provided you do things right. Similarly, it should take at least 3 years to build a successful blog/content site.

My New Course

Now, I have created a 1-1 course to teach you:

  1. How to do keyword research and have a list of 100 – 10,000 keywords and content titles to write on.
  2. How to use a single AI prompt to write unlimited SEO-optimized content, that is non-detectable by AI, non-plagiarised, written for humans:), and that ranks on Google search.
  3. How to write the best piece of content for a keyword that both Google and your readers love.
  4. How to build backlinks to your blog to get higher domain authority. I have manually collected a list of 200+ and growing legit websites(unlike outdated backlink resources on the web where 90% of sites don’t work) to get backlinks from. I have created backlinks from these websites, after which my domain authority went from 9 to 20 in the last 6 months.
  5. How to build a lead magnet so that you can convert visitors to leads and then a series of automated emails to convert leads into customers.
  6. How to repurpose your blog content into videos and podcasts using AI tools.
  7. How to share your content daily on social media – Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Medium, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube & Spotify using automation and scheduling to help you improve your social presence as well, as save time for other activities.
  8. How to outsource everything to someone else, so that you can publish 500 – 1,000 posts in the next 12 months and witness traffic growth.
  9. How to buy legit expired domains that have existing authority so that your site can rank faster compared to new domains.

By doing this course, you can build your blog, become a content marketer, run your content agency, or even work as a content writer/content strategist/content marketer/social media manager for any company.

You don’t need to invest in any tools (a subscription to Zapier for social media automation would be helpful).

Price & Schedule

The course is 1:1. 5, one-hour sessions should cover everything.

The course is priced at $245.
